Dr. Megha R is a young and dynamic Vaidya of the Dhanvantari Sampradaya, who has pursued her BAMS from the prestigious Government Ayurveda Medical College, Bengaluru, followed by a Master’s in Ayurveda Surgery (Shalya Tantra) from Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya and Hospital, Hubballi. She has continually honed her clinical and surgical skills by participating in various CMEs and training programs. With a strong focus on proctology and gastrointestinal disorders, she has gained expertise in managing hemorrhoids, fistulas, hernias, and cholecystectomy cases using classical Ayurveda techniques like Ksharakarma, Ksharasutra, and Shastra Chikitsa.
Dr. Megha specializes in treating a wide range of surgical and para-surgical conditions through Ayurveda’s time-tested therapies such as Agnikarma (cauterization), Kshara Karma (alkaline treatment), Raktamokshana (bloodletting by venesection, leech therapy, and cupping), and Viddha Karma. She is also adept in managing acute and chronic pain and incorporates both ancient wisdom and modern surgical principles for effective wound care. Her commitment lies in delivering high-quality, personalized treatment with compassion. She has contributed to the field through several research publications and has presented her clinical studies at national conferences.

Vascular Diseases: Varicose Veins, Thromboangiitis Obliterans (TAO), Peripheral Vascular Diseases, etc.
Parasurgical Procedures: Agnikarma, Raktamokshana, Kshara Karma, and Kshara Sutra.
Surgical Diseases: Managed effectively through Ayurvedic approaches.
Pain Management: Acute and chronic pain treated using Agnikarma, Viddhakarma, and Viddhagnikarma.
